Golden Belt Vocal Clinic 2005All homeschoolers ages 13 and above are invited to the 13th annual Golden Belt Vo-cal Festival. The Festival this year will be held Friday, April 15, 2005 in Salina. Our returning Clinician this year is Mr. Glenn Litke, accompanied by his sister, Brenda Jordan from Marion, KS. The Golden Belt Festival typically attracts over 120 home-educated students and their families. Parents are welcome and encouraged to join their students for the rehearsals, the full day of instruction and the evening performance. Music is obtained from Senseny Music in Wichita in early January, worked on at home or in your individual choirs, then the larger Choir is brought together for a couple of evening rehearsals, one in February and one in March. The day of the Festival is spent in rehearsal and fellowship, with the event culminating in an evening public concert. The four goals of the Festival are: 1.To glorify our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, 2.To educate and encourage excellence in musical interpretation and presentation, 3.To encourage fellowship among home educators and their families in Kansas and surrounding areas, and 4.To be a good example of home education to the public. Please find full information, including registration information online at www.goldenbelt.org. Questions may be ad-dressed to David or Karla Dennis at 785-825-7012 or info@goldenbelt.org. Registrations are submitted to Selena Book, 1019 2000 Ave., Abilene, KS 67410, or registration@goldenbelt.org. [Home][About C.H.E.C.K.] [Getting Started] [Beyond the Basics]
