The 2008 TPA Conference will be held on May 29-31 at Century II Convention Center in Wichita. This year's convention will include a special Thursday evening workshop for first-time convention attendees. On Friday and Saturday, there will be workshops covering a multitude of homeschooling topics, shopping in an Exhibitor Hall containing over 100 exhibitors, and a children’s program for 6-12 year-olds, Adventures In Character (AIC), that is second-to-none! Keynote speakers this year are Dr. Jay Wile from Apologia Science, and Ginger Plowman. They will be speaking on various topics to help support and encourage you in your homeschooling endeavor. The conference theme this year is - MISSION: POSSIBLE. Yes, homeschooling IS possible and homeschooling your high school student IS possible. We hope the convention this year gives you the support, resources and information you need to begin the homeschool journey or to continue this calling for your family. With God - our mission IS possible. Early registration ends May 16. For complete details, see the TPA web site. |
